Bean Quality

Mokador uses the most prized Arabica from high altitude equatorial regions. The beans are selected using an optical-electronic system, which discards unripe or defective beans: just a few of these beans would be enough to alter the taste of the final blend.

The Roasting Method


The beans are roasted with a combination of artisan ways and modern technology using "The Separated Roasting" method based on the fact that any single coffee sort requires different temperatures and times of roasting because of the different weather and soil it is grown under.

The Blend

Mokador's art of blending. Knowing the taste qualities of each type of coffee bean and how the characteristics of each are balanced and enhanced by their combination.

The Storage

Unlike other coffee companies, Mokador doesnt stock pile its roasted bean, turning them over to ensure the customer recieves its coffee at it optimum.

As far as we know, we are the only coffee company in Australia that stores its coffee in a climate controled environment, making it unique and distinctively consistant in flavour..

Packaging


1kg Bags

Mokador has adopted special bags, which are resistant to humidity and temperature changes. The one-way valve allows the bean to breathe without exposure to the outside environment. Therefore preserving the whole 800 characteristics of the coffee at its original state.
